Rather when the rotary is lace into, it can act more wisely compared to other company’s range extender. According to him once setting on the rotary engine, the vehicle can be more efficient as an electric vehicle. Although in the same interview with Autocar, Hitomi revealed about their efforts of advancing with an all-new standalone rotary engine. He also exclaimed that they hold no thoughts on pairing up the engine with any future model yet. He said that they have no plans in adjusting the engine in any of their actual product but they are in the process of developing a standalone rotary engine.
Setting aside the new evidence in the rotary chronicle, the main focus of Mazda is developing the new-gen Skyactiv-X petrol engines. The engine is said to be featured with compression ignition along with spark ignition. As for the claims made by the Japanese company, their new powertrains will be spotless as in an engine one throughput the lifespan of the vehicle. It is expected that as Hitomi is speaking for the second time about their new invention of rotary engine functioning as the range extender, the spinning-Dorito powertrains will return soon.
